«Kyrgyzstan feels like stepping back in time.

In those moments, she lived like a shepherd—riding with Progress, watching Little Storm gallop across the open plains, marveling at the cuteness of the fluffy sheep’s butt, and basking in the beauty of the sunset.

She witnessed the bond between Stone and his friends as he gently treated Little Storm’s injured leg, applying salve and giving him a shot of NSAID.

His grandmother welcomed her into their home with open arms, serving traditional kymyz, tabak bread, tender beef, and boundless hospitality.

At the morning animals market, she marveled at the sheer number of animals gathered in one place, a sight unlike anything she had ever seen. She learned that a horse cost around a thousand dollars, and overheard someone mention that a tourist had even bought a donkey to take home. In that moment, she wished she could bring Progress home with her as well.

The story of how one becomes an eagle hunter fascinated her—especially the sacrifices they make to preserve this ancient tradition. She finally got to try archery, a long-held dream. Though she was sad not to bring the bow home.

One evening in Song-Kol, she watched as a father and his son skillfully prepared a sheep for dinner, making sure to utilize every part of the animal. Nothing went to waste; even the fat was set aside to be used as fuel for the fire.

In the village of Sary-Mogol, 3,000 meters above sea level, life was refreshingly simple. Children played outside, surrounded by modest homes, small gardens, a river, and a solitary mosque. The kids tossed rocks at her in playful mischief, and she threw them back, and they broke out in laughter.

Snow-capped mountains loomed on the horizon as cars snaked toward the towering peaks, where hikers set off for Lake Tulpar-Kol and Lenin Peak. She and the others were jostled in an old, dust-covered car, rattling over every bump as it wound along the twisting road. The driver flashed a grin, his gold teeth glinting in the sunlight.

Here, human enriched by the simple joy. The beauty of minimalist joy…

Love…lot of love

…perhaps she had forgotten to lock her heart when she set out on this journey.”

She was in love with it when she was a little kids, still now and sure when she getting old.

That day, she sobbed in her grandma's arm because her paper lantern was burned in front of all the kids. But at the moment her grandma stroked her hair and gave her that look, she just understood something. "Either it is a paper lantern but it is the most precious one"

The view here is amazing! Still that is not the only thing maked her heart skips a beat!! She didnt expected that tour was like an adrenaline challenge. Cabel, elevator, lift, ecalator, glass walkway, skyway and bus, that was how we moving around here. Special the glass walkway around the mountain's clift and the bus road on the way down. They really boosted her adrenaline to the top. Her group incl. young, old and either 11 month's baby, and they all survived like a hero 😎
